As much as I want to give you a summary of each book, I won't. I want you to read these books and see what they can do for you.
There are so many more books that you can read and explore, but I've chosen a few to get you started if you're not sure where to start. Here is a collection of books that will inform you, encourage you, and maybe even inspire you to start or continue the conversation.
These are books that I have read myself and/or read in my classrooms. They can provide a foundation for meaningful discussions about race, prejudice and stereotypes. What you choose to do with these books is up to you, but if I were you, I would read them, share them and use them.
Educate yourself and others.
